Draft of quality management system
Poprac, Martin ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals in the first part about theoretical description of features of quality management system in some ideal company, then in the second part we made a review of management system in real company in comparison with predefined ideal model and we have proposed improvements. In the last part we accomplished some of the proposed improvements- process maps, organizational structure and appointment of responsibilities, blank forms for extended data capture and retention of records.
Improvement of water resources management
Hejtman, Jan ; Koška, Petr (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a lay of the business processes in Vodárenska akciová společnost, a.s. In theoretical part of the thesis are describe characteristics, mapping and modeling of processes in this company. In practical part are mapping processes, which this company make in order for their customers and daily processes, whereby sustains own infrastructure.
The Proposal for Change of Processess in Small Company
Novák, Roman ; Hrdinová, Ingrid (referee) ; Koráb, Vojtěch (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on process optimization in the middle sized company which is concerned with information technologies. Solution is based on detailed process analysis. The thesis describes unique products and services produced by company. The thesis analyses current processes and suggesting improvements. In conclusion is summarized economic, administrative and personal benefits. Optimized processes will serve as a base for real implementation of improved processes in the company.
The role of thermal spray parameters on structure and properties of cermet coatings
Vražina, Tomáš ; Čelko,, Ladislav (referee) ; Šulák, Ivo (advisor)
The diploma thesis investigates the influence of thermal spray process parameters on the properties of composite coatings, specifically WC-CrC-Ni and WC-Co-Cr coatings deposed onto an austenitic steel substrate. The main objectives were characterization of sprayed deposition and creation of process maps. The theoretical part included the most important details about the manufacturing process, properties, consolidation and application of cermet materials. The methodical part is devoted to a description of analytical methods and devices used for the characterization of coatings microstructure and its mechanical properties. The practical part provides information acquired from analytical devices. It contains details about surface roughness, hardness, porosity, indentation modulus, corrosion potential and corrosion current density. The chemical composition of coatings and powder mixtures was analyzed by energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). For more accurate determination of developed phases X-ray diffraction was used. During the coatings characterization various procedures were developed. It is expected that these procedures would be implemented in another optimization of spraying conditions. Results obtained in the practical part were discussed in discussion and compared with the results from several research studies. Conclusions summarize results obtained in practical part.
Design and Modeling of Business Processes
Čejka, Petr ; Kopfová,, Alena (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the implementation of process management in the emerging business. Explains what the processes are, compares the functional and process management. It analyzes the main reasons and benefits of implementing process management in the company. Specifies the different areas where it is possible to implement process management, and compares the practicality of this implementation with the theoretical knowledge. The last section describes processes and models created by some of these processes in an company, engaged in retail sales at a distance.
Modelling and Analysis of Logistics Processes by Applying Process and Data Mining Techniques
Rudnitckaia, Julia ; Wang, Hao (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
In this thesis, we propose an approach for modelling hidden and unknown processes and subprocesses in the example of a seaport logistics area. Having the underlying process model makes it possible to exploit more advanced algorithms since deviations and main paths are becoming visible and better controlled. The obtained model is the foundation for the core research of this work and will be enriched with key performing indicators and their forecast by applying advanced process mining, statistics, and machine learning techniques. The main difference of the approach is that we take as a target variable not any specific value, but the object - a process variant or a process type with a set of parameters. Bottleneck analysis, from one side, and predictive analysis, on the other hand, are enforced with context-aware information, especially with these additional objective process attributes.   Furthermore, the support of the descriptive ("As is") current process model with certain notation and the integration with relevant bottleneck and predictive methods compromise the advantages of the approach. The work primarily focuses on the design of algorithms and methods for supporting logistics data analysis. However, it can be adjusted and applied to other areas accordingly, which makes the approach flexible and versatile. The result of the work is the framework for unstructured process modelling and the key process parameters predictive method. This analysis of processes with their attributes might be used for decision-making systems and process maps in future.
Management processes and KPI
HOLÝ, Jan
The thesis deals with the Management of processes and KPI in the selected company. The theoretical part of the thesis contains information about the management processes and key performance indicators, which have been obtained by studying specialized literature. All procedures and analysis are in this section presented. Management processes in the company is important not only for the company itself, but also for the final customer, thanks to which it acquires added value. The practical part of the thesis describes selected company HOKAR SPEDITION s. r. o. Is a company engaged in the transport of goods in the framework of national and international road freight transport. The aim of the work is a description of the processes in the enterprise as a whole, assessment of their levels and any draft changes. Further work assessed the coherence of the processes with KPIS and proposal for their changes.

Process management in a selected small and medium sized enterprice
BÍLKOVÁ, Andrea
The topic of the bachelor work is concerned on the application of process management in small and medium-sized enterprises because nowadays processing management becomes a new way of management conception. The work explains basics terms of management, gradual process of the process management, its principles and types of changes in the transition from the functional to process management. It maps the process itself, analyses it using flowcharts and processing maps to improve the procedures of production. For data obtained in the manufacturing company was suggested the solution in the area of production. It was designed to buy a new machine for making croissants. This recommendation brings required effectiveness for easier operation and higher returns. Next suggested the solution is related to the technical training for workers in marketing department. This recommendation brings better situation of customer relationship and organization of business processes. The main goal is to decrease costs and save money.
